You take shelter under a crumbling stone archway as the rain echoes through the trees. A dilapidated chapel sits at the top of the hill overlooking a sea of lichen covered headstones. The scent of oakmoss, dry vetiver and aged leather cling to the humidity. The low relentless hum of cicadas drones on in the distance. The storm begins to settle across the sky like a bruise as a thick fog presses itself against the treeline.
